This is one of my most favorite recipes. But because the sunflower nuts are so small and tend to stick to the sides of the bowl, I usually substitute sliced almonds or pine nuts instead. The combination of flavors in this salad and dressing are delicious.

Excellent Salad!!!!!! Easy and a party pleaser. I took this to a family gathering, and everyone said that from now on this is the dish I always have to bring. I used regular mayonaise. Love the crunch and taste of the sunflowers with the boccoli and bacon. Flavors blended perfectly.

This is a delicious salad. I used cider vinegar and left out the raisins. I chilled for four hours and the flavors of all the ingredients came together perfectly.

This is the same recipe that my son-in-law, Richie gave me. We love it. I have used craisins before and it was also very good. I usually have the Hormel Real Crumbled bacon on hand and by not having to cook and clean up bacon it is a very fast salad.

I served this when MIL arrived to visit last night. It was a huge hit. She raved about it and had three helpings. I reduced the sugar to 1/4 cup in case it was too sweet for us. That amount of sugar fit our tastes perfectly. I also used red wine vinegar and real mayonaise. Someone else said it tastes better the next day and they are absolutely right! This one is a keeper! ETA: I made this a second time using Miracle Whip instead of Real Mayo. I much prefer it with real mayo because MW is too sweet for our tastes. DH's Aunt and Cousin loved it and MIL was happy I served it again.

A friend of mine makes this and refuses to give out the recipe. I figured out all of the ingredients on my own, but the measurements weren't right. Little does she know that I know about recipezaar! I think this recipe tastes better than hers! Maybe she uses some other type of vinegar. I used red wine vinegar and a red onion. I also used "blonde" raisins instead of the regular ones. Thanks for sharing!!

It is much better the next day. I also added shredded cheddar. I made a big bowl and that wasn't enough! It was delicious.
