This easy to make recipe reminded me of the hot artichoke dips we've probably all eaten (and loved) but the onion, garlic and tomato provided the extra flavour and interest. All our dinner guests raved over this one thank you.

This was great! I made it last night when we had some friends over for dinner. I made the topping, minus the tomato, the day before to allow the flavors to blend and just added the tomatoes right before spreading the mixture on the baguette slices.. Delicious- we all enjoyed this! Thanks for posting this- it's a keeper!

I need more than 5 stars for this one! Was very popular on the snack table. I pre browned the bread and just broiled a batch at a time so that the guests woudle xperience this dish fresh. Didn't really matter as it is delicious at room temp erature as well. Even had one of the kids come find me to tell me that they loved it. I will be making this many times in the future. Even had some of what was left for breakfast this morning!

Absolutely loved it, even though I didn't pre-toast the bread. I will follow directions next time. Thanks so much. I going to try another one of your recipes!

This came together very easily, the topping can be made ahead and then used in batches. Very easy to follow steps and the note about the burning edges is right on. Love the flavor, thanks!

This was absolutely fantastic. I served these with a salad and another appetizer and it made a great meal. I will serve this again and again to my dinner guests

I've had this in my cookbook forever and could kick myself now for not trying it sooner! I was leary about the combination fo the flavors, particularly the tomato, but they mixed very well together. Served it with a salad and some grilled shrimp. Thanks!
