I have used Hamburger Helper stroganoff but this is so much nicer.Used ground round, omitted the oil, chicken broth instead of wine and cooked the noodles until almost done. Cooked in my dutch oven instead of putting it in the oven and it turned out great. Fresher flavor, love the bit of dijon, and the noodles were lighter. Wonderful comfort food! Made and reviewed for ZWT 4 - Family Picks.

This was so good and easy. I did not bake mine in the oven. I did however, let it simmer on top of the stove on low for about 20 mins while I was waiting for the rest of dinner to cook. Great and comforting.

I'm always on the lookout for recipes that come together quickly for busy weeknights and this one fit the bill perfectly. The casserole couldn't have been simpler to prepare and the taste was delicious. Thanks for sharing this recipe!

COMFORTING DELICIOUS! This turned out just like I like my beef stroganoff. I used lean ground sirloin, garlic salt, beef bouillon, and light soup. I'm not sure the baking part was necessary as the sauce disappeared into the noodles and the top dried out a little after uncovering it. Freddy Cat says thanks for the beef! Made for the ZWT4.

Delicious comfort meal! DH loved it. Perfect for an easy family dinner. Much better flavor than most hamburger casseroles. I used the wine, very lean ground beef and lowfat sour cream. I only baked it uncovered for 10 minutes until the noodles were a little crispy on top. I might even skip that step next time if I'm in a hurry. Made for ZWT4.

GREAT RECIPE !! I never thought of baking stoganoff. TYhe only problem I had with it was it made my house HOT. But now that I know I will make it when it is cool or in the crockpot. I used green onions instead of a regular onion because I had some to use. I also added chives instead of 1 clove of garlic. Other wise made to recipe. Will make again. Made for ZWT4 team CHIC CHEFS.

This is pretty easy to make and it is comfort food. I would add some worchestershire sauce next time making this. I didn`t have fresh mushrooms so I used shittake mushrooms which I soaked and use the rich liquid in place of the wine. I did add peas for color. Thanks for a yummy dinner!

By the list of ingredients, I thought this recipe was sure to be a winner, but I have to say I was a bit disappointed. It was somewhat bland for our taste. It does have possibilities though with the addition of more salt, peas, etc., to give it more flavor.
