I have been looking for a peanut butter cookie recipe that was simple and delicious. It has been a long search and it is now over! As soon as I saw how simple it was I couldn''t wait to make them. They have enough Peanut Butter in them to make you come back for more. I have found that a sugared fork makes the cookies a little sweeter than a floured fork. No matter what this recipe is the best peanut butter cookie i have found.

THIS IS A MUST: ADD 1 cup of chopped honey-roasted peanuts, and 1/4 tsp of Almond flavouring (used maple instead of vanilla). Won 1st prize at recent bake contest for Best Cookie!!!! BRAVO.....BRAVO...for recipe!!!!!

I just got done making these, and for once I made a AWESOME cookie! I chilled the dough for about 20 min before ( I hear it helps so they dont break apart) then baked for about 10 min. Crispy edges, soft middles. and so easy!!! My DH is gonna be SOO HAPPY! thanks!!!!

Terrific recipe! I made these awhile ago, and froze them unbaked in a log wrapped in waxed paper. I just sliced off a few for fiance and me yesterday. The texture is perfect and the cookies came out nice and thick. Pure heaven! Thank you!

Excellent cookies. I made these for some friends and they all loved it. The cookies came out slightly crispy on the edges and soft in the middle. They are perfectly sweetened. One note, these spread so make sure leave some space between the cookies.

I loved the ease of this recipe. And they do have great peanut butter flavor. I like them on the soft side, so I only baked them for 8 minutes. I used a fork dipped in sugar to press them down. It made them a little sweeter. I got 32 cookies, served them on Christmas Eve, and they were all gone in less than an hour! Thanks!

I substituted the peanut butter for cashew butter and they turned out great. They will be a new Christmas cookie favorite in my house. I suggest that everyone try the cashew butter...mmmmm....very buttery.

These were very good. I also like a chewy cookie so I cooked them at a slightly lower temp, 350F. I was out of brown sugar and used white instead , they were still very good with lots of flavor. My daughter has eaten about 5 of them already
