This was an excellent pumpkin pie! I made it for Thanksgiving dinner (can you tell I am getting caught up on my reviews) and everyone loved it... Turns out more custard like than normal pumpkin pie but this will be the only recipe I use from now on! Thank you very much

this is an excellent pie! this is a lot of pumkin, and makes 2 pies, and I even made my reluctant teenage daughter help make them for Thanksgiving. She enjoyed telling everyone that she made them, thanks for an excellent recipe! the only change i made was just half of the ginger since the pie already had so much cinnamon & cloves, would also be good to keep the recommended amt of ginger, and half the cloves. my house smelled so wonderful when baking them.

We finally cooked up the Hallowe'en pumpkins and my DH made this pie last nite - AWESOME!! He made 2 pies and 6 small tarts all using prepared shells.

I've tried every pumpkin pie known to mankind. This is absolutely the best. Most pumpkin pies seem to get better after setting for a while. This one is amazing right out of the oven. Don't waste your time on any other pumpkin pie recipe. This is the best.

My daughter made this the other day for school. She was able to make 3 9" pies for her class. It was absolutely delish! Nice and creamy and the perfect amount of flavor! One boy she likes has told her every day since that he LOVED the pie.
Thanks for posting this!

Absolutely outstanding. This recipe definitely rates 5 stars. My DH is a pumpkin pie lover & he raved about this one--said to make sure I keep this recipe. First time we tried it hot & we both went back for seconds. It's lighter & more flavorful that most pumpkin pies.

I wasn't sure if 1 tablespoon of cinnamon was correct, I but went ahead and used that amount. The spice taste was a bit too intense for my taste, although it did mellow some by the next day. Next time I will reduce the amount of cinnamon.

Wonderful! I made this recipe in one 9 inch tartlet pan, and 4 mini tartlets with pumpkin cutouts. I should have taken a picture, came out beautiful, surpassed only by how good it tasted!
