36 Reviews of Pineapple Upside Down Biscuits

From: DEEP

On Mar 5, 2006

The very day that Paula made these on her TV show, I made my first batch. Between 3 of us present, we ate every one of the muffins within 15 mins. I have been making them for picnics and general get togethers ever since. The only folks I have ever encountered who didn't rave about them and ask for the recipe were folks who just didn't like pineapple. Oh, well, to each his own. Regards, DEEP

Oh my, these are good. We just had them with bacon and eggs for Sunday breakfast. Who knew plain old refigerator biscuits could taste like that?

We love these bicuits. They go together in a flash and bake up into a gorgeously delicious treat. They're easy enough for every day, and special enough for company. I couldn't find a 10-oz. can of crushed pineapple, so used an 8-oz. can instead, but still worked out great.

I made these for the game today and they were really yummy. I left out the cherries because Im not a fan of maraschino's and they still turned out wonderfully!!

These didn't turn out well for me. They were hard to remove from the pan and weren't thoroughly cooked.

So simple you could make these with our eyes closed, and good in a pinch when you need a simple dessert or brunch item.
