This is an excellent pumpkin pie. Really good texture and flavor. We found that it was much better the next day so if you can make it a day ahead and let it sit, please do! Thanks so much for another really good recipe!

The heading says it all! I whipped up two of these this morning, and one I will be taking to a get together tonight, and I'm certain my DH will have no problem devouring the second one. I did up the spices a bit to kick it up a notch (personal preference only). These pies set just beautifully, I was very pleased with the baked results, and will definately be making this again. This is a very good pie. I used a 15 ounce can of pumpkin and a 14 ounce can of sweetened condensed milk, without scraping out the cans. I will definitely make again!

This is wonderful pumpkin pie....it reminds me of 'old-fashioned' pumpkin pie like my Grandma made. It has the perfect blend of spices and it's easy to make as well. I'm making two of them next year! Thanks so much for posting this recipe SarahsMom

Classic pumpkin pie at it's best. The recipe title does not lie! I made one pie to serve four people, and it was gone before the next morning. So much for my pie-for-breakfast plan! My only recommendation would be to make two. Thanks for posting, sarahsmomi.

I made this pie for Thanksgiving. I was a little hesitant to try it as my family always loved my old recipe, but I was glad that I did. It set up beautifully and was much easiere to put together than the ones that use evaporated milk. When finished, it was every bit as delicious and no one could tell the difference. Thanks Sarahsmomi for a real keeper.

Oops, I made this pie for Easter. Wrong holiday, but who cares? This pie tastes good anytime. I made it for my picky son who likes it alot. Thank you for ending my quest for the perfect pumpkin pie recipe.

I made this for my dh for thanksgiving... He absolutly loved it! It was super easy to make, and no changes were necessary. All we did was add a bit of cool whip on top when we served it. Thanks so much for sharing- This will now be the recipe I make.
