YUMMY and so quick and easy! The family devoured these for a Sunday morning treat, but there are plenty more for left-overs - another bonus! They're easy to refrigerate, and re-heat in the microwave for a weekday breakfast to go. I used Jimmy Dean's sage sausage, drained all the fat off after cooking, and patted with paper towels to remove any remaining fat. I also used a 12 oz package of pre-shredded cheddar cheese, which was plenty, and I just needed 1 cup of milk. I baked them at 400 degrees for 15 minutes, and they were nicely browned, but soft and tender. We'll definitely make them again.

I omitted the garlic option. I only had 2 cups of Bisquick on hand, so I also lessened the amount of milk to about 1 cup. This turned out fantastic. More meaty filling/less biscuits. Easy recipe; will make again. Wonderful the next day as a quick breakfast on the go - just reheat.

Wonderful! I made a batch of these months ago and had forgotten them until my recent pregnancy has caused me to crave them fiercly - lol! I make a big batch every week and they are so good my family just gobbles them up without complaint... from my 18 month old to my 31 year old. Thanks for a great recipe!

This is just what I was looking for to bring for a Thanksgiving appetizer. I made mine with Monterey Pepper Jack Cheese. The spicy peppers and sausage were great together. And the garlic is really good sauteed with the sausage. Really easy to put together. Thanks Amy Lee for posting!
