When cut really thin, these can be sprinked on a salad with some mandarin oranges. Makes a healthy asian salad and these strips are a much healthier alternative than the deep fried wonton wraps they use!

These were great! I forgot to put the salt on at the end though, but I still loved them. I sprinkled them over The Best Tortilla Soup by Lorenlou (#85800)and it was delicious! Watch them closely to ensure they don't burn. I used flour tortillas. Awesome!

I'm munching on these tasty treats as I write this review. I used a package of 10 soft taco sized flour tortillas and had quite a bit of oil mixture left. I could probably have used two packages with this recipe. That being said, these are extremely addicting as a snack. I added 1 tsp. of fine sea salt to the oil mixture, stirring well to dissolve before spreading it on the tortillas. Perfect! I'll be using this recipe again for sure!

Oh Yummy! This is so much easier and less greasy then trying to fry them in oil. They taste so much better too! I added the full amount of cayenne and love the zip it gave them. They are fun to nibble on too! I'm so glad I made these!

EXCELLENT..made as stated with the tabasco added.. DO BE VERY CAREFUL in the baking times..I burnt my 1st pan..had timer set for 10 minutes..BURNT.. all ovens do differ..mine must be on the high side.. 2nd pan went in sat timer for 5 minutes..turned oven OFF cracked door and left in for 5 more..PERFECTION!!! guess like anything else 1st time go low and check frequently..KNOW YOUR OVEN these are great and easy

Reviewing as I'm making these. Cooking time is a bit longer, but that's my own fault because I put more than a single layer on the baking sheets. Just the right amount of seasoning and they will be a great compliment to the White Bean Chicken Chili I made for my work tomorrow. Didn't use a chili recipe from here as two of the men I work with swear their wives' are the best. So I combined their recipes (to make everyone happy). Thanks again for a great compliment to my chili :o)

Junebug, these were excellent! The flavor is just right. Not too mild and not too spicy. Of course all ovens are different, so watch the strips very closely so they do not burn. Thanks for posting!

These came out so great! I made them with the amazing chicken tortilla soup, and it was the perfect addition. I made both corn tortilla strips and I also made it out of whole wheat tortillas. The whole wheat took less time- but you could hardly tell the difference in the flavor! Thanks for the recipe!

These are GREAT!!!! Wow! These are so easy, but they taste wonderful! I served mine as an appetizer with some fresh pico de gallo. I sliced them thick, but you could slice them really thin, and use them as a garnish. The possiblities are endless!

These were quite good and very simple! While they were just good by themselves, the flavor they took on after being submerged in Amazing Chicken Tortilla Soup! for a minute was totally delicious!
