Oh man this is GOOD. the Bananas and black beans really go well together. I used a Cuban black beans and rice pre pack. I brazed the chicken in a little wine onions celery and Jamacan Jerk seasoning. adding some of the stuff from the pan to the beans and rice, I did not use the onions or salsa on top but that sounds good too.

This is absolutely AWESOME! I used peach-mango salsa, and eliminated the cilantro. I also used brown rice. Try marinating/grilling the chicken with Caribbean Jerk marinade. YUM!!

Really loved this. Made this tonight for dinner. Used Chimichurri Chicken Strips Chimichurri Chicken Strips and Frijoles Negros (Cuban Style Black Beans) Frijoles Negros (Cuban Style Black Beans) and used a Valencia rice. Must have a little of everything in every bite to get the full enjoyment from this meal. I am usually not 'in to' this sort of thing because I like my food neatly seperated on my plate and I tend to eat in order lol but this was wonderful. Left out the cilantro 'cause DH doesn't like it and also left off the onion and salsa. I will be making this again and again. Thank you for a great meal.

This was really good! Dinner was kinda hectic when I made this, so it was just the basic bowl, no garnishes - but so yummy! I used plain white long grain rice, broiled chicken with jerk seasoning sprinkled on top, canned black beans, and bananas. You really need the banana for this one, the sweetness make the rest of the (kinda bland) ingredients sing. I also froze 4 individual bowls (without the bananas), which I think will make good lunches. Thanks for the yummy recipe!

Very good. The bananas turned out so great. I made mango salso to go with it and it was a great blend of flavors.

I was really impressed with the way the flavors worked together. It definitely needed the salsa with it though.
