Was looking for a salad dressing recipe that didn't contain oil since I didn't have any on hand. After making this the first time, I decided I needed to double the recipe. Made recipe as stated the first time. Have also made it using dried minced onion from the spice rack. (Onions will soften-rehydrate as dressing chills). Thanks for posting!

Loves this! Went to serve a soup and salad dinner and found I had hardly any dressing. I mixed the sugar and the vinegar first- this make it disolve quickly- mixed the rest and it was good to go! Thanks for posting, I won't be buying thousand dressing again.

This was GREAT! I cannot find a thousand island dressing in the store that doesn't contain high fructose corn syrup. I used organic ketchup and dill pickle relish. Thanks so much!

I made this times 4 and it filled one large smart spin container. I used white wine vinegar because that is what I had and I used Fat Free Mayo.I left out the sugar. This recipe was easy and delicious. Thousand Island is my DH's favorite dressing. Thank you for this keeper !

This was wonderful. My son loves this dressing. I find the store bought to be too vinegar-y. This was perfect. Thanks.

I LOVE this recipe! I was craving thousand island dressing and found this recipe and am so glad I did. I made as posted and served with my salad last night for dinner. This recipe is very versatile and it would be good with shrimp, reubens, etc. Thanks so much for posting ~ I'll be using this recipe often!

Made this Saturday to put on my reuben sandwich. Turned out really tasty. I think it would have been better is I'd had a better mayo, but overall it was good. Made as written. Thanks.

I whipped up a batch of this for Reuben sandwiches (Sue's Reuben Sandwich # 34510)and received three cheers from my lunch audience. This was a breeze to make, plus I saved a trip to the grocery store! Many thanks!

Perfect! I needed to "stretch" the dressing a little, so I added about 1 1/2 teaspoons of half and half to dilute. Used white wine vinegar for regular distilled and red onions for white. Best, like most dressings, prepared at least 1 hour in advance. Why buy the awful bottled stuff anyway? Thanks for posting. cg
