This is SO YUMMY! I used jarred sauce (didnt have time to make my own) and found I used about 1 1/2 jars, although I like things saucey. The cheese in the middle was the best and it is enough for the whole family. Very good, will make again

Very good easy-to-make kid pleaser super dish. I used leftover spaghetti sauce instead of the bottled so I skipped the onions, garlic, mushrooms and green pepper. I also used cheddar cheese (instead of the combo) and a bit over the recommended amount. The leftovers will make wonderful lunches. Thanks for sharing!

I thought that this was good but not great. The noodle layer was a little flavorless to me and my sauce on top dried out a little. I would've liked more sauce spread throughout plus a bit more cheese (a good deal more, actually...following the recipe, my cheese didn't cover as thick as that nice picture over there...) All in all, a good recipe, very dense and hearty. This makes a TON and the dish is heavy!!

Very easy, loved it, lots to share. Personally I would add some additional sauce to this recipe the next time I make it.

This recipe just turned out ok for me. The bottom layer of pasta is very dense and the sauce wasn't able to penetrate it, so it came out a little dry. The leftovers the next day were even more dry. I didn't use the green peppers, but added the sliced mushrooms. I don't think I will make this again.

I didn't alter the recipe until I tried it first, this is a fabulous recipe..although next time we are going to make half of the spaghetti and more meat and sauce.

SUPER YUMMY!!!! We LOVED it! I will admit that we made a few changes. We did not use green peppers or mushrooms because of my picky 10 year old. We only used alittle over 1/2 a box of pasta , but the full amount of meat! We baked everything in an 8X8 baking dish. When the sauce was simmering we added some oregano, basil, and italian seasoning (1/2 tsp of each) & added extra garlic. Since we used less pasta we only used one egg and 1/2 the amount of Parmesan cheese, milk, & margarine. Lastly we layered the cheese... when we added the pasta we made a layer of cheese then added the meat sauce and then another layer of cheese!! We like cheese! We will definately be making this again!!!!

We had unexpected company show up on Saturday...what to make for supper? I made a mad dash to the store to grab the ingredients to make lasagna. I was surfing Zaar and decided on this instead. I did make a couple changes. I doubled it because of company. Our beef is homegrown beef packed in 1lb packages, I used 2 instead of trying to take out a 1/2 a lb. I used the spaghetti sauce I had in the cupboard and then I added a container of dry cottage cheese I had bought for the lasagna. Other than that I followed the ingredients and instructions. I made my big 11 x 14 pan full+ there was enough for a 8 x8 pan for the freezer...there was one end, 4 pieces left. Everyone went nuts over this. I served this with garlic bread and a lettuce salad. My hubby had a piece cold today for his lunch (he likes cold leftovers) and said it was great. I was telling my mom about supper and she called me back today for the recipe. Definate keeper and I will enjoy it again another night with the one in the freezer. Thanks a bunch.

I love it! We make homemade pasta in a pasta machine so we did that and didn't have everything listed so we basically made our homemade pasta and our usual homemade spaghetti sauce and then followed the directions for putting it all into the pan with the milk, butter and other stuff. It took our usual spagetti dinner and turned it into something new and exciting. Wow!
