Apple Pie Recipe #45029

SERVES 6

  1. Combine sugar, flour, butter, lemon zest, cinnamon, allspice, cloves, and nutmeg in a food processor.
  2. Process until well blended.
  3. Spread one-third of the sugar mixture over an unbaked pie crust.
  4. Arrange apple slices, in an overlapping pattern, on top of the sugar mixture.
  5. Top with the remaining sugar mixture.
  6. Bake@ 400 degrees for 45-55 minutes, until crust is lightly browned.
  7. Serve hot, warm, or at room temperature.
