Homemade Alfredo Sauce Recipe #380142

My husband is part Italian and absolutely LOVES this.

SERVES 10 -12

  1. Melt butter in a medium, non stick pan over medium heat. Add cream cheese and garlic power, stirring with wire whisk until smooth. (I use a blender on low).
  2. Add milk, a little at a time, whisking to smooth out the lumps. Stir in parmesan cheese and pepper. Remove from heat when sauce reaches desired consistency. Sauce will thicken rapidly thin with milk if cooked too long. Toss over hot pasta to serve.
  3. ** I add a package of the already made chicken breast to 1/2 a box of pasta to the sauce. Let all this warm up, and then serve with garlic bread.
