My Mom's Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe #380140

Very yummy ooey gooey cookies

SERVES 24 -36 , 24 Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Dissolve the baking soda in hot water. Add to the batter along with the salt. Stir in the flour, chocolate chips. Drop by spoonfuls or a melon baller onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
  3. Bake for about 10 minute or until the edges are nicely browned. I only bake for roughly 8 minutes -- High altitude -- and we like them a little gooeier.
