Sweet Potato Custard Pie Recipe #380

SERVES 8

  1. Combine eggs, sugar, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon, orange peel and milk.
  2. Add sweet potatoes, grated right before adding to milk mixture. Stir in butter.
  3. Pour into pie shell; bake at 400 degrees F for 45-50 minutes, or until knife inserted 1 inch from edge comes out clean.
  4. Serve slightly warm or cold.
