Pomodoro Sauce Recipe #379084

A simple basic tomato sauce that my grandmother always makes.

SERVES 4

  1. Sautee onions in olive oil until lightly browned.
  2. Turn temperature to medium and add can of tomato sauce.
  3. Add salt and pepper.
  4. Bring to a boil, then bring temperature to low.
  5. Cook over low for 45min to 1 hours.
  6. Add fresh basil leaves before serving.
  7. (serve over a pasta of your choice).
