Pineapple Dream Squares Recipe #377638

These a very sweet and delicious squares, I'm sure everyone will love them. A variation of this is to melt 2 squares semi-sweet chocolate with 1 tsp. vegetable oil. Drizzle over cooled squares. Let chocolate set before cutting into squares.

BASE

TOPPING

  1. TO MAKE BASE;
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F Spray a 9-inch square pan with cooking spray. In a medium bowl, combine flour and brown sugar. Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly. Press into bottom of pan. Bake until lightly browned, 12-15 minutes. Cool slightly.
  3. TO MAKE TOPPING:.
  4. In a medium bowl, whisk eggs just until blended. Stir in remaining ingredients. Spread over base.
  5. Bake until topping is set but still soft in center, 40-45 minutes. Cool completely on a wire rack. Cut into squares. Keep refrigerated.
