30 min | 10 min prep

SERVES 6

  1. put oil 1/2 inch bottom of pan
  2. add onions
  3. fry for a couple of minutes
  4. add fideos which are like vermacelli
  5. cook until the fideos are butterscotch colored dont burn
  6. wash rice
  7. add rice and water to the pan
  8. add salt
  9. taste water to make sure flavor is right
  10. cook on med heat uncovered stirring alot
  11. until all the water is absorbed
  12. cover and simmer on lowest heat
  13. til the bottom is browned not burned.
