Maple Sweet Potato Grill With Walnuts Recipe #361144

Entered for safe-keeping. From JoAnna M Lund's "Hot Off the Grill: The Healthy Exchanges Electric Grilling Cookbook", received in February 2009 Cookbook Swap. How can something this healthy taste so good! Perfect for the G Foreman grill.

SERVES 4 , 4 patties

  1. Plug in and generously spray both sides of double-sided electric contact grill with butter-flavored nonstick cooking spray and preheat for 5 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, in a large bowl, combine maple syrup, parsley flakes, onion flakes and black pepper. Add diced cooked sweet potatoes and chopped walnuts. Mix well to combine. Make 4 patties.
  3. Evenly arrange sweet potato mixture on prepared grill. Lightly spray sweet potato mixture with butter-flavored nonstick cooking spray.
  4. Close lid and grill for 6-8 minutes. Serve at once.
