Persimmon Pudding Recipe #15963

I never liked persimmon pudding until I tried this. This was my father-in-law's recipe. He was a good cook! Enjoy!

SERVES 9 , 9 squares

  1. Combine persimmon pulp with sugar.
  2. Beat in eggs.
  3. Sift or stir flour with baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, milk and butter.
  4. Mix with persimmon mixture.
  5. Pour batter into a well greased 9-inch square cake pan.
  6. Bake in a 300-325°F oven for 35 minutes.
