Honey's unique composition makes it an effective antimicrobial agent, useful for treating minor burns and scrapes, and for aiding the treatment of sore throats and other bacterial infections.

For Sore throats

  1. For cough-- Mix honey, glycerin and lemon juice.
  2. Bottle and cork firmly.
  3. Use as needed.
  4. For Blocked noses-- Place honey in a basin of hot water and inhale fumes after covering your head with a towel over the basin.
  5. For Sore throats-- Let 1 teaspoon of honey melt in the back of the mouth and trickle down the throat.
  6. This will ease inflamed raw tissues.
