Copycat Sweetened Condensed Milk Substitute (Paula Deen) Recipe #105568

Paula Deen made this on her show. It is the butter that sets this apart from other recipes. This milk is so thick and creamy you will want to eat it with a spoon (or at least I always do)! I have used this several times and it has worked like a charm. I am so happy to have this for the holidays, since it's usually the one ingredient I'm out of.

SERVES 4

  1. Using an electric mixer or blender, blend together water, butter, sugar, and vanilla.
  2. Add powdered milk and blend until thick.
  3. Store in refrigerator for one week.
