Irish Cream Truffle Fudge Recipe #101044

Oh My Gosh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is fantastic!!! Not too sweet like most fudge is. It's very decadent....with a great irish cream taste. From All Recipes Cookbook.

2 Dozen

  1. Butter a 9x9 inch pan.
  2. In the top half of a double boiler, heat the 3 cups semisweet chocolate chips, 1 cup white chocolate chips, and 1/4 cup butter until melted.
  3. Stir in the confectioners' sugar and 1 cup Irish cream until mixture is smooth.
  4. Stir in nuts.
  5. Spoon mixture in the prepared pan and press and smooth top with a spatula.
  6. In the top half of a double boiler, melt 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips, 1/2 cup white chocolate chips, and 2 tablespoons butter until melted.
  7. Remove from heat and stir in 1/4 cup Irish cream until smooth.
  8. With a knife, spread topping over cooled fudge.
  9. Refrigerate until firm, 1 to 2 hours at least.
  10. This fudge can be frozen.
