This recipe really appealed to me because you can mix everything in the mixer and don't have to cut in butter etc. I was not disappointed. Very quick to make and delicious to eat. Light and fluffy scones. I omitted the poppy seed because I needed a more neutral scone. Made for Went to the Market.

These are completely delightful! Absolutely delicious, and so fluffy. The amount of sugar was absolutely perfect. We enjoyed them both plain and with some lavender peach jam from the farmer's market (because I had to eat a second after the first, since it was so delicious!). I highly recommend these wonderful treats. Thank you for sharing! ~PAC Spring 09~
