Pomodoro Sauce

A simple basic tomato sauce that my grandmother always makes.

SERVES 4 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

    Sautee onions in olive oil until lightly browned.

    Turn temperature to medium and add can of tomato sauce.
  3. 3
    Add salt and pepper.
  4. 4
    Bring to a boil, then bring temperature to low.
  5. 5
    Cook over low for 45min to 1 hours.
  6. 6
    Add fresh basil leaves before serving.
  7. 7
    (serve over a pasta of your choice).
