It is croustillante(crispy). Very nice apple dessert. I was expecting a crisp but it turns out it like a light cake pudding. I made it for 2 and we loved it. I would suggest to put parchment paper at the bottom of your baking pan because it did stick. Thanks for posting. I made this for ZWT5. Rita
