Pizza Base for the Bread Maker

A tasty, easy base that has a similar texture to Pizza Hut pan pizza.

SERVES 6 -8 , 2 pizzas (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

    Measure all the ingredients into the pan of the bread maker - the order given will give the best results.
  2. 2
    Run the machine on the dough only cycle.
  3. 3
    Press down to deflate slightly and rest for 30 minutes and heat the oven up with a heavy flat tray or pizza stone on the lowest rack.
  4. 4
    Spread/stretch/roll out to fit your pizza pan.
  5. 5
    Top with your favorite toppings.
  6. 6
    Place into your hot oven, still in the pizza pan, on top of the hot tray and bake at 220C for 15-20 minutes.

    Kiwibird#2 this was the BEST pizza base i have made-so much so that apparently we won't be buying pizza again!! thankyou for sharing this easy fantastic recipe

    Five stars for this crust! I have tried many pizza crust recipes, for my bread maker over the years, but this one takes the "cake". This one is really delicious. My husband, for the first time, raved about the crust. Thank you for FINALLY coming up with a superb crust! Catherine Morgan
