YUM YUM!!! WHAT a GREAT IDEA FOR SUMMER...These were great on a platter next to my 4th of JULY BBQ. I FRIED A BUNCH AND THEY WENT PERFECTLY NEXT TO THE HOT DOGS AND RIBS...SO Easy and SO GOOD. The kids were grabbin' them left and right. I added a little OLD BAY to the Batter. Thank Jen...Check out my Rib recipe, what a pair they made. Beverly, NJ

Fried Pickles are great! We get these at one of the bars in town, they use spears when they do theirs though. I liked them a bit better like this, cut into disks, smaller, easier to eat. I served them with Ranch dressing. If you do usse pickle spears instead, be careful when you first bite into them, they get really really hot and you are better off cutting htem in half and letting them cool down a bit. I've seen many people bite in, try to bite off the piece and pull the entire pickle out of the breading when they pull back because of the heat. Thanks!
