From a McCormick spice company recipe. I haven't tried this yet.

SERVES 10 -12 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

  • 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract

  • 1 (16 ounce) can vanilla frosting

A little goes a long way! I used about 1/3 container of cream cheese frosting and about 2 drops of extract and it was perfect. This is a fantastic recipe for the holidays. I frosted some pumpkin muffins I had left over and it complimented them quite well. So simple, so minty! I can't wait to try it on some chocolate cookies or perhaps some ginger-bread men cookies. Thanks for sharing this keeper recipe.
