Slushies offer unlimited possibilities for ingredients. Here´s one from Safeway Stores Eat Like a Champion. Berries in season could be added. Your option! From USA Pears.

SERVES 1 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

  • 1 large pear, any variety
  • 2 ounces orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh squeezed lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 cup crushed ice

Directions

  1. 1
    In blender, combine all the ingredients and puree until smooth. Pour into chilled glass and serve.

I agree with Bird & Buddha. . .this is a WOW recipe. Definitely light and so tasty. This would be great poolside for sure!!!!! Made it as written. Thanks for a keeper, Sharon!

    Wow, this is great! Very light, refreshing, and packed with wow! I did peel and core the pear first. I also used lemon juice (on hand) for the lime. Thanks for sharing this keeper recipe.
