These are my most requested treat! They make a wonderful gift at Christmas. The key is in the vanilla .

4 dozen (change servings and units)

Ingredients

  • 8 (2 ounce)  vanilla candy coating, squares cut up

  • 2 2/3 cups milk chocolate chips
  • 1 lb salted Spanish peanut

Directions

  1. 1
    Melt candy coating and chocolate chips in a heavy saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly.

    Remove from heat and stir in peanuts.

    Drop mixture by tablespoons onto waxed paper-lined baking sheets.

    Chill until firm.
