A wonderful salad that's great for pot lucks or as a side dish to your favorite make at home Chinese dinner. Whenever I make this for pot lucks, I come home with a clean bowl and requests for the recipe.

Directions

  1. 1
Chop cabbage and onions. Place into a large bowl and set aside.
  2. 2
Remove ramen noodles and set set aside seasoning packets.

Place ramen noodles into a zip lock bag and crush with rolling pin.
  4. 4
In a large frying pan, melt butter over medium high heat.
  5. 5
Add crushed ramen noodles, almonds and sesame seeds, frying until they are golden brown in color. Remove from heat.
  6. 6
Add seasoning packets to the ramen noodles. Stir well and set aside.
  7. 7
