Ingredients
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup walnuts
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 4 tablespoons cocoa
- 1 pinch salt

Directions

Melt butter.2
Beat eggs, add sugar until light and fluffy. Add butter. Combine baking powder, flour, salt and cocoa, sift together. Add to egg mixture. Stir well to blend.3
Add nuts.4
Bake in buttered 8-inch pan at 350F for 20 minutes.5
Cool before icing.
