I'm always looking for different pizzas. I came across this recipe in the Our Compliments magazine from our local Sobeys grocery store. I tweaked it a bit to suit our tastes. Hope you enjoy it.

SERVES 8 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

  • 8 naan bread, breads
  • 2 cups tzatziki, sauce (store baught or your favorite)
  • 2 cups diced cooked chicken, seasoned with
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 red pepper, diced smallish
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese (or more)
  • 1/2 cup green onion, chopped
  • salt and pepper

Directions

  1. 1
    Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. 2
    Place bread on baking sheets.
  3. 3
Divide the tzatziki sauce over each bread.
  4. 4
    Sprinkle some cheese over.
  5. 5
Place an equal amount of the peppers and chicken on the bread.
  6. 6
Add salt and pepper to taste.
  7. 7
    Sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
  8. 8
Bake 10-15 min or until desired crispness is reached.
  9. 9
Keep an eye on them after 10 minute so they don't burn.
  10. 10
Sprinkle desired amount of green onions to finish.

I can't say how much I love this! It was so tasty and easy to put together. The naan really makes a thin, crispy crust and all the other ingredients combine so beautifully. Best of all, I felt positively virtuous eating this, with no guilt at all! I will be enjoying this often. Thanks for posting this. Made of Everyday's a Holiday Tag Game.

That was just terrific. The naan bread was really nice and the toppings were so tasty. I made it exactly as listed and wouldn't change a thing! Thanks for a great dinner - 5 stars from all of us. Made for Everyday's a Holiday. Thanks!

This has a unique fresh taste. I forgot to season the chicken, so it needed a little more spice which I will be sure to do next time. Also I added some chopped tomatoes to the toppings. Made the Nann myself using recipe 203261.

Very enjoyable! The blend of flavors was great. I used homemade tzatziki and seasoned the chicken with sage, oregano, and basil. I sprinkled a little bit of feta on with the green onions after the bake. Thanks for sharing!
