My Mother's Delicious Chicken Soup

I have 3 sisters and we always looked forward to the day our mother made this soup, it is my favorite since i love olives. and now that i got married i tried making it and it was just as delicious!!!

SERVES 6 -8 (change servings and units)

    In a 5 quart stockpot put the 2 liters of water, the chicken, the cloveof garlic, 3 teaspoons of salt and half onion to cook for about 30 minute.

    check that the chicken is almost cooked, add the potatoes and the rice and let cook for another 10 minutes.

    at last add the tomato slices, vegetables, mushrooms and olives.
  4. 4
    cover and let simmer for another 15 minutes.
  5. 5
    serve with a couple of corn tortillas and lemons to squeeze in the soup and it is deliciously ready!
