Here is one to open up the nose, whet the appetite, and get the gastric juices fired up! Beautiful color, different textures, and the flavor is totally punched up!

  • Fresh Baby Carrots

Gotta have something fresh to clean the teeth and give the guts something to do!!!

  • Honeymoon Chicken Fricassee!

I'll make with lots of EXTRA gravy, so there's plenty for the potatoes. Using chicken pieces instead of just drums and thighs. Received many compliments on this down-home meal!

  • Thanksgiving Mashed Potatoes - Loaded!

Didn't have the chance to make this ahead like I normally do, so it was kind of a rat-race this morning, but got so many compliments on the flavor, it was worth the effort! They were stickier than normal, but the flavor was profoundly delicious AGAIN!!

  • Sweet - Sour Green Beans Loaded With Bacon

Well, those German roots were showing today...and they really scarfed these down. Almost had to break up a fight over who got to have the leftovers! Now--that's a compliment!

  • Caramel Apple Coffee Cake

Make this a day or two ahead of time, let that caramel-y glaze soak in real good! Perfection has been achieved!!! Made two cakes, one with and one without nuts. The cake WITH nuts was completely demolished by the time we came home--and lots of satisfied belly-rubbing going on!
