Recipes in This Menu

  • Honey Mustard Baked Chicken

So easy to put together, I really should get this recipe posted on Zaar! Served in the roaster pan...and JUST the perfect temp when we arrived---finger lickin' good!!! Good thing, because the electricity hadn't been hooked up yet, so glad I had it HOT when we left home!

  • Herby New Potatoes

Baby new potatoes (quartered) and slathered with butter loaded with parsley & thyme---very fragrant and held up well for the drive from home to the building site.

  • Sweet Corn with Browned Butter

Bright yellow kernels of corn, lightly drizzled with butter that has been browned in a cast-iron pan, then sprinkled with "Spike" (seasoned veggie salt)--tastes ALMOST like fresh sweet corn-on-the-cob. Bought the corn on the way over to the building site, had planned on heating it up there (elec. was SUPPOSED to be hooked up), so one of the ladies offered her generator-powered microwave. It took 23 minutes on high power !!! to get 4 pounds of corn hot enough--whew!

  • Fresh Veggie Tray With Dip

Carrots, radishes, dill pickles, black & green olives nestled in a serving tray, served with Aunt Kathryn's Lo-Cal Veggie Dip.
