  • Crock Pot Chili Con Carne With Beans

WOW-WEE!! This is good stuff!! I can plainly see why it would win 1st place! I had to leave out all the "super spicy goodness" because my 7yr old would be eating it too but even without it it rocked! Changes made: I left out the cayenne pepper, jalapeno peppers, and fresh tomatoe (didn't have one or I would have added it) and I only put in half the chili powder. I poped it all in the crockpot on high for about 4 hours. Served with: Shredded sharp cheddar and sour cream and a grilled cheese sandwich. This will be my staple chili recipe from now own! Thank you soooo much! (^_^)

I would fill the page with stars for this if I could! Yummy Yummy Good!! I made mine in the crock pot so I switched it up a little but the structure was all yours! Here's what I did... First I halved the recipe to 3 servings (still quite a bit for my small family) I put S&P & garlic seasoning on the meat and rubbed it in real good then covered and let sit in the fridge for about an hour to absorb the flavors. Then I seared the meat and put the meat in the crockpot. I placed the onion on top of the meat. Then I deglazed the pan with balsamic vinager to get all the yummy bits up. To that I added the worchester sauce, soy, and a little garlic powder, stired it to mix and poured over the onion and meat. Covered it all up and let it cook on low for about 7 hours then I pulled out a ladel of the juices and mixed in some powdered gravy mix, wisked it together and added back to the pot for the last hour. When it was all done my family could not say enough good things. Thank you SOO much for this wonderful dinner that I just shared with my family. (^_^)
