"This menu is a 72 hour plan for food that can be made with no power. Everything is pantry goods (or substitutions are listed), and can be cooked on a campstove, open fire, or outdoor grill. I designed this plan with my family in mind, which includes children. This also has my family's tastes in mind. In order for this to work, the ingredients for this menu must be together in an area where you won't use them everyday (at least not without restocking), that has 1-2 gallons of water per person per day, and has all of the recipes printed out. Many of these recipes rely on small 1 T. packets of condiments available at fastfood restaurants and at bulk stores. (That way you can have your mayonaise on Day 1 and on Day 3 without fear of bacterial growth.) Also keep healthy snacks, like dried fruit and granola for throughout the day."
