  • Great-Grandmother's Slaw with Vinegar Dressing

(Kind of weird, but it's a family addiction! We have this instead of a salad.)

  • Broccoli Salad #181

  • Sour Cream Yeast Rolls

(A fabulous Southern Living recipe. I assumed somebody would have posted, but I can't find it....)

  • Grandmother's Boiled Custard

  • Pecan Pie

(We've decided Jodi's recipe is even better than my great aunt's — and that's braggin' on her!)

  • Ricotta Cheesecake

(Mean Chef's cheesecake is beyond fabulous! For a topping, I usually macerate strawberries in sugar and Grand Marnier. then cook a little while to thicken.)

  • Mincemeat Pie

(I know it's downright un-American, but nobody in our family can stand the taste of pumpkin!)

I love your menu! So many good things here. I have tried your Broccoli Salad #181 and it is a definite winner. The cranberries make it perfect for a holiday meal. I hope your Thanksgiving is as wonderful as your menu.

Looks great, I added that Gullivers Corn to my Thanksgiving menu as it is a work in progress, but that one looks like a winner.

Thanks for sharing your menu! I was really inspired by your choices. Loved the descriptions and notes about the recipes (the note about the stuffing is so touching!). I am going to try the sour cream rolls and the cheesecake. I would love to try the corn bread stuffing if only I could taste some first. I've never had corn bread stuffing and I don't know if the family would tolerate the change. I have to add that the boiled custard just sounds divine. I really felt I could taste it after reading the recipe! Thanks so much for sharing! Roxygirl

This was a half way menu. If you are going to suggest recipes you should post them so other people may use them. Thanks!
