  • Chinese Rosettes 1978

    Adam makes the batter, grandma fries, and then we both get to dip them into powdered sugar. Lick, lick lick those fingers clean.

    this is a easy caramel marshmallow candy trimed in coconut. All our favourite things to eat. yummo !!

  • Italian Pizzelle Tye Plates 1927

    Must have these in the house all the time, good for our lunch boxes too. Adam makes the batter, and Grandma cooks them one by one. By the time shes ready to box them up they are half gone. Wonder who keeps eating them, maybe Buster !?

    Puffy, melty crunchy cookies. Grandma makes these and tucks around tissue paper in little tins. They stay crisp for a long time, and we enjoy them like eating air !

  • Family Favourite Lemonia Cookie 1968 Indiana)

    old fashioned as Grandma says, soft cakey little cookie with frosting. I like when we make all the different coloured icing and sprinkle coconut on them.

    All these recipes might see to be a lot to make for us, but yes we all help and and have fun. Gift Giving if a great thing to do for the people you love and with the people you love. Then watching them open the ribbons, and with eyes popping and a lot of oohs and aahs saying thank you over and over again. It is just so nice, thats the best present I can get from them too.
