about me

I live in beautiful Nova Scotia, Canada with my DH Dave, a recently diagnosed celiac. We are a writer / editor team and work freelance, primarily with government clients. I'm honestly not much of a cook, but I need to learn to make gluten-free foods for my husband, so I'm using the information I find here and on other websites to improve the quality of his life.

Favorite Foods:

My favourite food is chocolate!! Well, I know that's not really fair. I guess my real favourite food is chicken. I eat a lot of chicken. I think the one dish I'm famous for is my bruschetta and baked garlic, though. My girlfriends always ask me to prepare this for our get-togethers, and are always asking me for the recipe. I see there are hundreds of bruschetta recipes on this site, so didn't actually add my own.

I'm in the midst of a diet right now, and am eating more meat and protein than I think I ever have my whole life. It's working, though. I'm down 8 lbs and 11 1/2 inches.
