Favorite cookbook: Barefoot Contessa at Home; I've never been disappointed with a recipe I've tried from that book.

Favorite thing to cook: comfort food for cold days: chili, baked potato soup, cider, broccoli cheese casserole. I live in Texas and we don't get many cold days, so any time there is a cold snap (even if it is just 50 degrees) I use it as an excuse to make my cold weather favorites. Nothing fancy, but always good.
