about me

I've been cookling since I was 10 and my mother tricked me into thinking I was being rewarded by helping her cook. My friends and family don't invite me over for dinner because they are intimidated by my gourmet cooking. But I cook lots of plain old fashioned food as well as gourmet. My favorite cook book is Jean Georges' "Simple to Spectacular". The book has 3 different and more complex ways of cooking each recipe. This is what I enjoy the most personally, taking recipes that I find and changing them in more simple or complex ways. I also am passionate about eating out. I have eaten in 3 star Paris restaurants and hot dog stands in NYC and loved everything in between. I am looking forward to sharing recipes and restaurant reviews.

Favorite Foods:

My favorite foods are anything that is prepared well. So far, with the exception of some of the dishes I found in China and insects in general, I eat everything.
