about me

My name is Patti and I am a mom of 4 - all grown up and gone now. My husband and I are now empty-nesters and, although we miss the kids being here everyday, we are really enjoying life.

We both love to cook and we've lurked here for years. We've found so many, many great recipes on Recipezaar. Now that I am a member, I can finally post reviews on them all. I just need to find the time!

Favorite Foods:

Tomatoes with basil is a winning combination for me. Another is chocolate and raspberries.

My all time favorite meal is still my mother's meatloaf and scalloped potatoes. It's my comfort food. My husband's comfort food is Campbell's Tomato Soup! LOL! He had lots of it while growing up I guess.

We like all kinds of food and will try anything once!
