Hi, I'm Maura! My husband live in the Boston area with our wonderful bunnies & rats! I am a self-employed workaholic and love every second of it. Besides working, my passions are cooking, reading, old-school video games, doing crafty things, giving makeovers to my friends, and volunteering my time to awesomely worthy causes.

If I had to narrow it down, I'd say that sushi and chocolate are at the top of the list. I'm not scared to give ANYTHING edible at least one shot; my preferences span a wide range from ridiculous simplicity to mind-warping complexity. I'm also obsessed with my crockpot, and am constantly looking for novel crockpot recipes (especially the kind that don't require a triple bypass after the meal!) I also love to make "clones" of famous restaurant dishes. My favorite restaurant has got to be Sushi Man in Newton, MA. Call me the next time you're in town, I can show you around, and you can buy me some sushi for lunch!
