Hi Everyone!
My name is Nancy.
I now live in the,Northeast of England, I came from a small town in Central Illinois in the U.S.A. Born and raised there. I lived there all my life,until last September 2002.

I came to England to get married.I have a Wounderful new Husband now and I love him dearly! I truly love it here, it is a beauitful place to live with all of it's Great History. I do however miss my family so very much. I really miss my two grand-kids a lot! We are planning a trip home to America this late fall and I can't wait!!! YEAH!!!!


I love to cook, more over I love to EAT!! LOL!! My hubby is getting to like my American cooking! :o I like to try new recipes. I am so happy that I found this web site! The recipes on here sound just wonderful. I can't wait to try them!

I guess if I had a month off of work, I would take a Holiday to Spain or Holland,and taste some of the good food they have. I have always wanted to go there. I would love to be in Holland in the Springtime to see all the Tulips in bloom!


Here in England,I love to go to the Town Centers and go shopping in the little Shops that they have here. I also like to go for walks and look at the Sea and watch the Ships out in the shipping lanes. It truly is a Beauitful place here where We live.

I also love to work with flowers and different kinds of plants,even though I don't really have a Green Thumb! I guess I just like pretty things that smell good!

Favorite Foods:

My favorite dish to cook is,Pot Roast with all the trimmings,Ham and Beans,mmm yumm!I really like to bake all kinds of Sweet Goodies too! LOL!(my hubby has a real sweet tooth too!)LOL! He's very happy that I am a good cook/sweets baker!

I like to try all different kinds of recipes.I guess you could say that I am a Cook-aholic!! I think my daughter would say that, I'm famous for my Home Made Chicken Pot Pie and My Home Made Chicken and Noodles, with Buttery Mashed Potatoes.


My daughter says she can't wait for us to get home on Holiday,so I can fix her those dishes!She dearly loves them.
I on the other hand can't wait to fix her some Real English Yorkshire Puddings!You will never guess what I thought they were,before I came over here!!:o I thought for sure they were some kind of Baked Sweets! LOL!
Was I ever supprised!!!!) I just love them!!mmmm soooo good!


I guess that is all I have to tell you about me so, Eat,Drink and Be Merry, and most of all HAVE FUN and don't take things to serious, Life is just to short!
