Home sweet home is on the north shore of Hay Bay which is one of the bays of the Bay of Quinte. North eastern end of Lake Ontario.
I used to work as a cameraman shooting mostly TV commercials, but then I had a stroke that retired me.
Fun? Going to for weekly visits with my shrink. It's the high point of my life. Eh, you do what ya have to, right?
Favourite cookbook of all-time? Well, I guess it's got to be RecipeZaar.com. Love it. I just wish there were an off-line version of this thing.
Pet peeves? No peeves, pet or otherwise, these days. I used to bitch a lot about all sorts of stuff, but hey, life's too short to waste it that way. Nowadays anything like a peeve just rolls off like water off a duck.
I always have a month off, no work, no responsibilities. I'll tell you what, it ain't nearly what it's cracked up to be. Work and responsibilities are the root of life's joys… they're what give you focus. Without work and responsibilities you atrophy very quickly, you rot, you die. Treasure the busy-ness of you life.
Favourite dish to cook? Anything with lots of spicy heat and flavour. I like food that bites back. If you can work scotch bonnet peppers and garlic into the recipe then that's the sort of thing I like cook/eat.
Friends and relatives consider my cooking something that's best avoided. Except for the occasional baked goodies the leave my stuff alone. Suits me just fine.
Favourite restaurant? Hard to say, there're so many, but if I had to settle for just one it would have to be the Real Jerk in Toronto.
