I love pretty much any cookbook. A staple for any kitchen and new wife is the " Better HOmes& Garden Cookbook. I am anal about recipess -I follow them to the letter! LOL...substituting makes me nervous! If a recipe calls for a spice I don't have..I run to the store to get it. Needless to say, my spice rack is stuffed!

I think if you can read, you can cook! Baking definetly takes some techique and understanding - but your basic dinner cooking is not rocket science!

Favorite Foods:

I love Italian and Mediterranean. And as my husband is from North Africa, I am developing appreciation for that cuisine as well.

I make a mean Lasagna. I love to experiment with different soups and stews.
